Our Mission

At ICU Hope, we dream of a world where no family sits in the ICU waiting room feeling forgotten, unprepared, or alone. Our mission is simple: to walk beside 1 million ICU families every year, offering them faith, courage, and practical tools when life feels impossible.

My Story

I never thought I’d be an ICU spouse. One ordinary day became the longest journey of my life.

Doctors told me my wife had only a 3% chance of survival. For 12 days, I lived between machines, prayers, and decisions I never wanted to make. Years earlier, I watched my mother-in-law spend 42 days in the ICU. I knew the fear of watching loved ones disappear behind hospital doors. Both times, I came out forever changed.

That’s why ICU Hope exists: to take the lessons, prayers, and hard-won wisdom of those nights and turn them into a lifeline for others.

Why ICU Hope Matters Now

Every year, more than 5 million families face the ICU in the U.S. alone. Too many sit in those waiting rooms afraid, alone, and overwhelmed.

We can’t stop the machines from beeping, or change what doctors will say. But we can give you strength for the day, clarity for the moment, and faith for the fight.

Hope is like the sun, which as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.
